Breadline Ministries

     Welcome to Breadline Ministries! We are so happy that you have come by.

     We spend our time (usually about 12 hours a day) tending to the needs of others, doing bread runs, managing distribution, and unloading 200 pound pallets from trucks, among other things. One would expect this of the average warehouse worker during busy season, but I am not an employee. My name is James Lynn and I run a bread ministry.

About Us

     I am a bit of a specialist in warehousing and distribution, and pick up the bread and other items (cakes, pies, and chips) distribute them. Needless to say, word spreads quickly. The Bread Ministry is able to feed families by delivering to various ministries throughout Indianapolis, Indiana.

     While this is definitely a blessing, the figures remain startling. It is estimated that 40,000 children in the Indianapolis area, alone, go to bed hungry every night. This number does not include their parents, or other adults who are out there hungry. Indianapolis is only one of many communities in the United States. This means the national figures must be even more staggering. Many people and churches send money overseas to help feed the needy. That is fine, yet it is our own communities that are neglected and people who continue to go hungry.
